Last off season was full of hope and optimism that the Bulls would finally get deliver on the promise of having luck finally turn our way.
Instead, it was another season full of tough breaks and overachieving despite adversity lurking around every corner.
Basketball is over for the Bulls, but at least there was some acknowledgement of individual achievements.
Joakim Noah was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Noah was also voted on the All-Defensive First Team, and All-NBA First Team! Noah has really come a really long way from being perceived as just an energy guy that would only give you rebounds, to blasting through that limited ceiling. He is one of the cornerstones of this team, setting the tempo on offense with his passing, and the tone on defense with his rebounding, energy and ability to guard multiple positions. Great stuff and I'm hoping team success can mirror the individual accolades next season.
